Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze the immune effectiveness of primary polio vaccination schedule with two kinds of models, thai is,1IPV+2bOPV or 2IPV+1bOPV. MethodsTo investigate and collect venous blood from the subjects prior to study enrolling and one month after finishing their primary polio immunization schedule with the two different vaccine combinations. The levels of neutralizing antibody against polio type Ⅰ-Ⅲ was measured by microneutralization test method. ResultsBefore vaccination, the positive rates of neutralized antibodies against type Ⅰ,Ⅱ, and Ⅲ poliovirus were 71.9%, 56.1%,and 42.1% respectively. After primary immunization with two different vaccine combination, the positive rates and immunization success rates of neutralizing antibodies against type Ⅰ and Ⅲ poliovirus reached more than 92%, levels of GMT were >1∶800. After one or two doses IPV vaccination, polio Ⅱ antibody positive rates were 80.7% and 96.2%, the success rates were 51.6% and 73.1%,and GMT were 1∶9.15 and 1∶33.75,indicating after two doses IPV immunization the value of GMT was significantly higher than that of one dose IPV. ConclusionThe positive rate and antibody titer of neutralizing antibody against type I and type Ⅲ poliovirus can maintain at higher levels with the two kinds of immunization models. The two doses IPV model can be better for improving immunization success rate and GMT level of type Ⅱ polio.
