Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of different environmental conditions on the contents of triclosan products for the application safety. Methods The content of triclosan was detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Kromasil C-18 column, the mobile phase: acetonitrile:water (80∶20), the detection wavelength was 283 nm, flow rate 1.0 mL/min, column temperature room temperature, sample size 10 μL. The changes of triclosan content of the products were detected in the following conditions: normal atmospheric temperature, strong light and high temperature, acidity, alkalinity and simulated natural water body. Results The mean content of triclosan was 468.31 mg/100g for three batches. There was good stability of the products of containing triclosan in the condition of normal atmospheric temperature. The triclosan content decreased in some degree in the condition of strong light and high temperature, acidity and alkalinity. The content of triclosan increased in simulated nature water. Conclusion HPLC method was established for detecting the content of triclosan in the study. The triclosan product content will be changed in some degree in the special condition, and triclosan can be accumulated and storage in simulated nature water. More attention should be paied to the safely applying of triclosan products.
